Our safe, efficient and environmentally friendly batteries are lightweight and have a wide variety of applications. From powering your leisure activities to providing essential backup for critical power supplies, they keep you running when you need it most.
Simple to use and with a 5000-cycle lifespan, Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) batteries are revolutionising the way we use power. Here are some key facts to help you better understand their potential. If you have other questions, please get in touch with our team of experts.
If you have any doubt about your battery size, capacity or electric system please call us on 01159 303 140 or contact us. Transporter Energy do not take responsibility if any of our batteries are ordered and turn out to not be compatible.
Q: Is the battery suitable for my vehicle/boat?
A: Our Lithium Iron Phosphate battery is 95% compatible with all vehicles and marine boats, however if you have any concerns or doubts about compatibility, please contact us for free advice on whether the battery is compatible for your desired usage. You can get in touch on our contact us page, or call us on 01159 303 140. We're available 7 days a week.
Q: Where are your batteries made?
A: All of our batteries are designed, assembled and tested in Nevada, USA.
Q: Are your batteries safe?
A: Because they don’t contain lead or acid, Lithium Iron Phosphate batteries are far safer than traditional batteries.
The Internal Battery Management System prevents the battery from overheating, discharging excessive voltage or short circuiting.
Our battery is the only LiFePO4 battery to have been tested and passed first time by INTERTEK in the USA, which proves it is safe enough to be transported by plane, a rare distinction. It is also CE approved in the UK and Europe.
Q: How long do your batteries last?
A: The exact lifespan will depend on how you use your battery, however, on average, each Transporter Energy Lithium Iron Phosphate battery will last 10-15 years or 5000 cycles.
Q: Why are Lithium Iron Phosphate batteries so expensive?
A: The upfront cost of our lithium deep cycle battery is higher than a lead acid equivalent. But when you divide that cost of the life of the battery, our LIFEPO4 battery is already cheaper than a lead acid battery.
When you factor in the cost and time associated with changing the batteries, you really save a bundle when you decide to install a Transporter Energy battery bank. At 5000 cycles, most people will have these batteries for 10 to 15 years. The costs are dramatically less over time!
Q: How do I choose the correct Lithium deep cycle battery for my application?
A: In most standard 12, 24 or 48 volt systems the best choice of lithium battery is Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4). The voltage of this type of battery is very similar to an AGM and will work great with readily available system components for your leisure vehicle, boat or off-grid power system.
If you have a device that requires a higher voltage of DC power, please call us on 01159 303 140 or contact us via the website, and we will help you find the right battery for your application.
Q: How do I size a Lithium Iron Phosphate battery bank for my system?
A: Sizing a battery bank for an off-grid or mobile power system can get complicated if you don't have all the information you need to make the right calculations. You will need at least some basic information to get started.

Q: Can your batteries be mounted in any position?
A: Yes! Because there is no acid in the battery, and the small amount of liquid electrolyte is sealed within each cell, you have the flexibility to fit the battery wherever is most convenient.
Q: How much maintenance do your batteries need?
A: None! Once fitted Transporter Energy batteries are designed to be maintenance free. They can hold their charge for up to a year, meaning that if your vehicle or appliances are stored for any length of time, the battery will be ready to go as soon as you are.
Q: How long does it take to charge your batteries?
A: This depends on the type and size of the charging source, but typically it will be about up to 20x times faster than AGM/lead. To maintain the lifespan of your Lithium Iron Phosphate battery, we recommend that you charge at 50% of the capacity.
